來自香港的男同志攝影師，青春正盛，卻不幸患上罕見癌病，前往瑞士動手術，一邊與病魔搏鬥，一邊跟外籍男友情海翻波。父親偏心哥哥，不願接納他的同志身份，更令他孤立無援。手術後須在腹部留下「造口」，身爲同志又是造口人，面對疊加起來的社會偏見，重新振作需要更大氣力。本是已故藝術家李志超的半自傳電影，他因癌病復發無法實現，劇本交到洪榮傑（《無聲風鈴》，33屆）手中。林耀聲全情投入演出，把個中矛盾掙扎表露無遺。

人物自相矛盾，劇本薄弱，一切敘述流於表面，調度毫無分寸。向原型人物致敬，RESPECT！

四星全給攝影，so stylistic and so artistic！

同志電影本來就不是要求觀眾去「認同」片中的主人翁，而是讓觀眾去「融入」，能否全然感受就見仁見智，《造口人》在畫面及光影的捕捉上很花枝招展，雖仍有幾個還算堪看的時刻；不過這部片真正的問題，就是連咱們的主人翁都沒塑造好，我們能感受主角為病痛所苦，訴求唯一同性伴侶之肉慾、活得相當生猛，但也只能感受出單方面，而當全片只有主觀的觀點（特別是同志片），那整部片就徹底失敗，定位不明。
