在臺灣教孩子門歷史，不用講教材，他們的電影就是最好的歷史，而且在審視歷史的時候又兼具了人文教育，我不知道我的孩子還能從中國歷史教科書上看到多少真實的東西，我們的電影有幾部是可以作為歷史教科書的？藍風箏，頤和園，鬼子來了，都是被制度斃掉的片子

"九份開始變冷了芒花開了滿山白濛濛像雪" 寒冷侵襲的時候誰又躲得掉。沒有多複雜多華麗的鋪墊沒有煽情沒有矯揉造作的橋段一幀一幀悲情的畫面放映出時代的絕情和平凡人的疾苦

4.5.侯孝賢敘事素材和文本含義組織最好的一次。但依然與臺灣人生活在二二八陰影下的感性痛苦分不開。辛樹芬的形象是這片點睛的一筆（幸虧伊能靜辭演了這個角色），有她的出現才把那沉鬱黑暗的氣氛引向了理想主義的一面。沒有她這片的感覺氛圍會垮掉一半。
