My Paparotti (KFF)

Based on a true story, the film follows high school student Jang-ho who is part of a gang but possesses a talent in singing. Sang-jin is a music teacher who is once a promising vocalist but quits singing due to vocal cord tumor. When Sang-jin hears Jang-ho`s singing voice, he is impressed and is determined to train him into becoming a singer like the late tenor Luciano Pavarotti. A special bond develops between the two but a critical situation involving the gangs prevents Jang-ho from achieving his dream.
