三十出頭年青夫婦姬蒂和馬德，他畫壇不得志，她追求自由工作環境… 兩人由繁華紐約搬到偏遠古老大屋避世。入夥不久，他們發現屋內的神祕房間擁有超自然物化能力，只要講得出，怪房一定做得到！靚衫、名畫、珠寶甚至現金，怪房有求必應！沉醉於物慾之後，姬蒂竟然向怪房要求要一個孩子…
馬德後來發現，所有怪房物化的都不能離開大屋，否則灰飛煙滅… 夢「想」之家，是美夢，還是惡夢？
