全戲都是以迪恩為中心展開，影片也確實把要說的都點到了，關於流浪和遠方，關於青春和慾望，關於空虛與迷茫。只是不像摩托日記那樣有一股精氣神貫徹電影始終，本片過於平鋪直敘，毫無半點藝術處理，顯得很散，而且無神。另外，難以忍受斯圖爾特的面癱表演，她的床戲還沒有牙叔演得好！

影片改編自“垮掉的一代”時期著名小說，Walter Salles導演這一回令人失望，和其名下作品中的公路片佳作《Central do Brasil》和《Diarios de motocicleta》相去甚遠。尤其是與《Diarios de motocicleta》相比，兩者同樣是年輕人在迷惘中的精神朝聖，片中諸位角色只見茫然不見覺悟。

我想如果沒有強大的科波拉，應該拉不來那幾個每個人都能獨挑一部戲的明星。Tom Sturridge還不錯。其他演員不是太濫就是乏善可陳，導演的問題深重，演員長的和演的都太現代了，dean是那麼重要的一個人物，但是我一看到Garrett Hedlund就出戲。另外攝影還好。再有配樂挺好，原聲會很不錯。

沒看過原著不知道是不是本身就是這樣，劇作本身是比較散的，不過幾個演員一個比一個浪蕩不羈，倒是氣質十分貼合。（斯圖爾特演浪蕩女簡直手到擒來啊。）看到最後紐約的重逢還有點眼眶微溼啊，這一輩子，其實都是on the road

比我期望的好太多，技術上講有好幾個鏡頭非常牛逼！配樂也是。影片1/3的時候本以為以這種敘述方式結尾得爛掉or劇情不流暢，結果竟然出乎意料的好！
